My own personal Narnia

So I went for my annual trip to Tesco's to get my food for the next couple of weeks, whilst I was in there I was introduced to a brand new world of Tesco's that I had never seen properly and never truly appreciated before... as I walked around the aisle's it was like being transported to a new dimension.... My own personal Narnia accept with a lot less imagination.

I walked through the aisle's looking for the cheapest things ever because thats the only way I shop and as I traveled what did I hear? It wasn't the usual commotion of other shoppers rushing around trying to find the deals before everyone else.... it was "the greatest rock album ever", I walked around listening to "We will rock you" "Born To Be Wild", "More Than A Feeling" and other various songs that just made my legs go weak just from listening to them.

To walk through those big automatic doors to find a stress free zone in Tesco's was one thing but to find it with music that I liked playing was amazing! To make my night as I walked around I heard someone singing along word for word .....

"Buddy you’re a boy make a big noise
Playin’ in the street gonna be a big man some day
You got mud on yo’ face
You big disgrace
Kickin’ your can all over the place"

I imagined a huge spotlight shining down on the balding man, fireworks flying of in every direction as he took up a microphone and sang to an imaginary crowd.... He was a rock-star that no one will ever know. Keep on rocking sir... keep on rocking!

At this point I walked off with a huge smile on my face probably looking like I was in my own world as I walked back out the doors with my bags of shopping, I made a decision that Tesco's even though you make me smile and give me cheap food I don't want to work for you.....

You may have my money or at least some of it Tesco's but you may not have my soul...
