Passion....

So this past 6 months or so I have been trying to keep fueling my passions for music and things that I have kinda lost touch with in my life.

These being small things that I felt I didn't need as much as I thought but they all have taken affect in my life.

To having a kick around on a sunday afternoon to traveling ridiculous amounts of miles to play a gig... These were passions in my life, passions that are hard to control and fill in a way that is truly satisfying.

That is why I have almost challenged myself to get more music playing time in my life and to find the time to have a good kick around.

The point is that we all have passions, what are yours?

Don't shut them out, let them breath because they could grow into something huge in your life.

In Yeovil we would have a kick around on a sunday afternoon and I would love it, moving to Plymouth I lost that commitment to the weekly kick around until a few weeks ago.

Now I am coaching a under 15's football team who are incredible, the small spark of joy I had on a sunday afternoon has given me the opportunity to speak and interact with loads of non-christian lads.

Not to mention that they are on a unbeaten streak of 3 games at the moment so its amazing!

But its not even the point of winning or losing, its the point that I have recovered my passion.

The music side of things are slowly coming on with a lot of acoustic songs but still it is growing.

I urge you to find your deepest passions and give it to God.

Let Him lead you in your life as He leads you in your God-given passions.
