Soul Survivor.....

So Me and Rachel and a group from our church went to Soul Survivor this week....

It was awesome!!

The only way that I can describe it......

God moved!

We saw people being healed, Rachel's arm (in which she tore ligaments a week before) was healed.

The youth in our group were incredible, serving and diving straight into God.

Was an amazing week which ended with the 3 young people from our group coming to Christ!!

So it was epic!!

My challenge was trying to see the truth in the lyrics in the worship songs, as I have felt very convicted in just singing the songs but instead to see Gods word through the lyrics and music.

It was a great time in which I came out feeling closer and more open to God's word.

I came back with some major sun burn on the back of my neck which is still a bit tender right now, which says something about the weather... and my neglect to putting on sun cream.

We heard Mike Pilavachi and Andy Croft sing One Direction which was hilarious but through the mix of it all you felt like a big family, coming together for a reunion.

Around 1500 people came to know Jesus over the week...

My only problem is....

When churches rely on Soul Survivor to help the young people on their way to Christ....

Instead of doing the outreach and evangelism themselves.

Its something that does happen and its a shame.

Anyways it was overall a phenomenal week.

Can't wait til next year :)
